Each month I ask myself, what do I need to release and leave behind in order to do this?
Each month I get the answer and think, “Well DUH Missy, you totally should have known that.”
Last month I gave up beating myself up for my mistakes, imperfections, opposition to my path, and misplaced truth.
Yep, last month I gave up on looking outside myself for happiness. I started digging in deep on my courage and looked inside to really follow my path for joyful change.
I reconnected with my goals and dreams and made love to them. I romanced the crap out of my calling to change the world and we flirted at all hours of the day and night. I aligned my actions with my highest dreams and when I did that magic started to happen.
I started sleeping better and smiling more.
I started reaching goals and achieving success.
I started laughing and playing and having a good time.
When we stop spending time beating ourselves up the most incredible thing happens, we actually start making good shit happen.
When we stop spending time opposing our divine assignment and start speaking our truth, we actually start making our dreams a reality.
When we stop spending time outside ourselves, we connect to a strength and a power we didn’t know we had.
There are no hard and fast rules to rebellion.
Carry on.
Love,
Dr. Melissa Bird
