The Things I Do Daily to Keep Me Focused, Productive, & Happy

I have recently been focusing on flow and resistance in my business.

If it feels good and easy then I take action on it, if it feels hard and difficult I try and let it go.

Recently I have been feeling a lot of forward momentum on some major projects I have been focused on. One of those projects is writing The Graceful Revolution book, the other is starting a retreat center and aquaculture farm.

And my brain keeps telling me I need to be fucking terrified, horrified, frozen in my big audacious ideas.

There are things I have been doing daily to keep moving into my big audacious dreams and I wanted to share them with you so that you can move along with me!

  1. Make the most of your forward momentum. Work in 30 minute increments by setting a timer on your phone. Here is an example of my day: Read for 30 minutes, write for 30 minutes, social media for 30 minutes, phone calls for 30 minutes, thank you notes for 30 minutes

  2. Remove all distractions. Put your phone on silent and flip your phone over while you are working. Talk to your BFFs first thing in the morning or after 4:00 PM. Eat when you are hungry and have a full water bottle with you at all times.

  3. Strike while the iron is hot. Move quickly and pursue all opportunities that come your way. If you take intentional, inspired action and don’t overthink things MAGIC happens and your brain can’t sabotage your life.

I am loving all the progress I am making in my life and I hope that you receive many magical gifts as we are entering into the delight of spring.

There are no hard and fast rules to rebellion.

Carry on.

Love,

Dr. Melissa Bird
