Exploring the Flame Within

February 3, 2024

10:00am-12:30pm pt

On the witch's calendar, Imbolc represents the exact midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

A time of reflection, Imbolc presents us with an invitation to go within and connect with our inner voice.

Brigid is the goddess who represents this time. Her name means “exalted one”. She is the goddess whom poets adored.

In Exploring the Flame Within we will gather together to celebrate your inner wisdom through healing ritual and poetry.

The Experience

Using the animal archetypes of Imbolc we will spend 2 hours celebrating the emerging new life by stoking our intuitive fires within.

The 3 themes:

Lambing in the Belly:

  • Gentleness

  • Innocence

  • Youthful energies

Burrowing into the Groundhog cave:

  • The belly of the mother

  • Stirring of the seeds of spring

  • Persephone rising

The Stirring Serpent:

  • Sloughing old skin

  • Healing and fertility

  • Transformational powers
