Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, misogyny did.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “curiosity killed the cat”?

That phrase...UGH...I really loathe that phrase.

The way that phrase has been used to keep me stuck over the years, mostly by men, really just irritates the crap out of me.

As if a curious woman is a bad thing.

As if a curious woman will blow up the world.

As if a curious woman is too much for people to handle.

As if CURIOSITY is a BAD thing!

UGH!

I am calling bullshit on those shenanigans RIGHT NOW!

This is an open invitation for you to have an open and curious mind.

This is an open invitation for you to have a sense of excitement.

This is an open invitation for you to explore, expand, and exercise your eagerness for change.

Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, misogyny did.

What are you curious about?

I am curious about spirituality, magic, prayer, the mystics, prophecy, writing, nature, puzzles, music, sex, cynicism, love, mystery, reading, attraction, politics.

Be curious.

Write down your curiosities and then set out to learn more about them.

Expand your vision of creation and explore new ways of thinking and feeling.

Rock on,

Dr. Melissa Bird
